Rebirthing

Today seems like it was yesterday. I leave Thailand.
In a post office in Bangkok, the odd testimonials of this erratic "conquest " are eager to undertake their own journey into other hands.
In the same way the collages accompanying me will awaken before your eyes to collect thousands of new meanings. As will this adventure . As I will.

Renacer

Hoy parece que fue ayer. Dejo Tailandia.

Work in progress. Thailand style

Summary exercise. Farewell time. Productive days of "cut and paste. "
I return to my memoriesI came back to Chiang Mai couldn't wait to see transferred to canvass the Don Quixote passages. What I found was effort, dedication, humilityimperfection ... CRAFTS. That was far from the stroke without stroke that we are so accustomed  and the digital "excellence"but that was just its value: the purest essence of the "Thailand traditional Style. "
I decided to work on the last two backgrounds, scraps of old banners that had been rescued from the floor of one of the battered craft workshops surviving in Bangkok

I start recycling  on the street pavement, spraying, adding my imprint to theirs. Who was going to say ...
On the visit to Cambodia, where I renewed my visaremember just the spectacular ruins of Angkor Wat and the back and forth snaky route on the bus when the mental assembly of the pieces was my salvation, "16 elements combined, taken 2 by 2 .... " Exhausting. The sea of Ko Chang as vanishing point.  Came full circle, folks.

Work in progress. Thailand style

Ejercicio de síntesis. Toca despedida. Días productivos de “corta y pega”. Vuelvo a mis recuerdos.

Sukhothai

On March 30 I wrote: "In the hotel. Dinner and return to work.
I still got to final textmatching Quixote.  I like them more each time I read them..."
The next day, March 31, I went to Sukhothai, the ancient capital of Siam, 440 km north of Bangkok.
After six endless hours by bus, I went to a cyber.

"I have nothing. Ciber in the ass hillconnection impossible.
Cyber elements in rebellion. "
Dinner and stick me like a clueless tourist. Of course, with a beatific smile.

In the end, the trip was worth it: "Splendid, the ruins.
Few tourists. Rent motobike, then bike. Heat. I leave the circuit. OTHER ruins outside the premises, including rice paddies and fields. I'm traveling, free (perhaps the same thing). At night, illuminated budas ... MAGIC.
Loneliness by company.
The camera gives error. Perhaps lost photos of the adventure."

Sukhothai

“No tengo nada.
MAGIA. Soledad por compañía.
La cámara da fallo. Quizá pierdo fotos de la aventura”.

Work in progress

Copy of my book a memo dated March 30:
"Time is flying ...  day before last of March. I go to take the canvas to the signwriter.

In the morning, I pass her one of those painted in the village of umbrellas: tacky flowers on red ground remnant of the press in Bangkok.
Stamp the text: "Dear Sancho, we have had much time to do bad things, but not everything is bad forever, our luck is about to change '(something)
I remember at that time, it seemed the most appropriate for how I felt, 'There is no evil that lasts a hundred years! ".

The really difficult part was trying to explain the meaning of everything...
Therefore, I gave up. Perhaps it was better that way.
She wrote it in black.
